Vintage - weekend

Starting at the end of August, when the vintage begins, until November it ist absolutely busy in the vineyards. For the wine-grower a totaly labour-intensive period. Nevetheless for you as a guest in Germany`s so called "red wine paradise" a time of celebration and enjoying. Feel free to find your personal flavour when tasting wine of grapes like "Blauer Spät-" oder "Frühburgunder", "Blauer Portugieser", "Dornfelder" und "Domina". Perhaps you will find your very own personal favourite under the local wines when visiting one of the noumerous wine festivities along the Ahr. Combine sociability and joie de vivre with lots of interresting knowledge about wine when visiting the world`s eldest wine estate in the neighbourhood Mayschoß.
