The Erbprinzenpalais is breaking new grounds and wants to become the 1^st organic hotel of Saxony- Anhalt!

Holiday at the Erbprinzenpalais means unwinding, relaxing and regaining strength. Enjoying the moment – and a wonderfully relaxing holiday created by hospitality, comfort and tranquillity.

Staying with us, is staying within the enchanting Harz Mountains, close to the “Brocken”, the highest peaks of northern Germany and the Harz national park.

An exciting holiday awaits you, experiencing that you’re more than just a holiday guest. Traditionally, relaxing and close to nature – here you will be able to spend memorable days in a carefully guarded landscape and with varied leisure activities.

Experience at our family-run hotel hours of leisure and enjoyment! Comfortable, pleasant furnished rooms with shower/ toilet, balcony, hair dryer, telephone and colour TV are at your disposal. Our restful oasis with a Finnish sauna, herbal steam bath, bionarium, whirlpool and sunbathing area provides for the soothing harmony of body, mind and soul after an eventful day.

Enjoy culinary delights, game provided by local hunts, hearty and biological products of regional organic farmers and the milk products from the cheese dairy of the Gropengießer family, herbs and vegetables from the “Demeter” horticultural nursery Midgard in Quedlinburg and the ecological horticultural business Handrick, our sausages and meats we purchase at the Glüsig estate. Our fish is provided by organic fish farms. Most of our breakfast marmalades are homemade from berries and fruits we picked our self, just like in grandmother’s time.

It will probably be another year of work before fulfilling our goal of fully converting the cuisine and cellar to organic standards. Everything you will be able to eat or drink at our house, whether meat, vegetables, fruit, cheese or refreshments, drinks will be provided then by certified organic agriculture or from tomboy or by nature; all to support a lasting recreational effect of your holiday.

To us food is a conscious pleasure!

We start with breakfast and a small menu, provided by the best organic products as well as fish and meat from tomboy. We place special emphasis in the careful processing of foods. Regional specialities and popular international dishes gain to be a special culinary delight. Also we provide you daily with a delicious wholegrain menu, as well as a vegetarian menu to choose from. Your health is at our heart!

Lastingness has top priority!

As a future organic, ecological hotel we have set our self the goal to take great care in choosing our many products. This means, that in the future not only our food products, but also our cosmetics, furniture, energy and much more will come from organic production. Another focus is placed on strengthening the local organic farmers. This promotes regional peculiarities and conserves resources through short transport distances.
